Epigenomics

Epigenetic modifications such as DNA-methylation or chromatin modifications are reverseable and heritable changes regulating the genome activity without altering the DNA sequence and thus represent important factors in gene regulation. Important developmental and quantitative traits, such as embryogenesis, dormancy, flowering are regulated via epigenetic mechanisms. A large number of sequencing-based high-throughput methods have been developed to analyze histone modifications and DNA methylation. We are happy to identify the most appropriate approach for your research question and provide you with bioinformatics services to answer your specific questions.
